DragonWriter app overview

Here you will find information, notes, guides, and updates for the DragonWriter Android app.

This is an app created by a writer, for writers. There’s no AI integration, all data is kept directly on your device and doesn’t go anywhere else (unless you copy it to a cloud service yourself). I was tired of apps with ads, paywalls, or missing features I wanted. So I made one.

It’s still very much in development, but the aim is to eventually get it onto the Google Play store, where it will be free (and ad-free).

    Short-term timed word goals for focused writing.

    Word count goals either by date, or by story.

  • Export stories

    Several different export formats are available to save your story to.

    A dated log of changes made to the app.

  • Road map

    What features are in the wishlist. Up-and-coming stuff.
